A.C. Stratford lives in Oakland, California, teaching community college by day and writing romance novels by night. Free time is spent enjoying meals with family and friends, watching science fiction, sharing yoga with others and hanging out with furry four legged friends. Family is very important and their support is an instrumental part of the process. Goat helps keep A.C. company while writing and making sure the pages are in order. Sometimes they help edit too.
Influences run the gamut of H.G. Wells and Mary Shelley, to more contemporary writers like J.R. Ward, Mary Doria Russell, E. Lynn Harris and Ernest Cline. Always looking for a new book to read, A.C. has recently enjoyed books by Nnedi Okorafor, Kameron Hurley and Adam Silvera.
A good book, good cup of coffee and a good cookie make for the best Sunday afternoons.
